As a courtesy to our patients, we will submit dental claims for you and accept assignment of benefits to receive payment directly from your insurance company. We ask that you bring all pertinent and current insurance information with you to each visit. This information allows us to help determine your benefits. Patients are ultimately responsible for the discovery and understanding of the limitations of their insurance plan.
Payment of your insurance deductible and the percentage of treatment not covered by your insurance plan will be expected at the time services are rendered. Dental insurance is a contract between the patient, the employer, and the insurance carrier; not between the dentist and the insurance carrier.
Dr. Nicole Ferrara and Dr. Theo Mioduski, III, are in contractual agreement with Delta Dental as Premier providers. Although IGDNC may not be in contractual agreement with your insurance company, we do want to help you receive the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled.
We promise you that, IGDNC will never be guided on your treatment needs by your insurance plan. We’re always going to talk to you first about what dentistry you may need, so you understand that fully, and then we will work with you on how you can pay for it. Even though insurance is a great benefit, and we’ll work with you to maximize what you can get from your plan, insurance is a method of payment and not a method of treatment in our practice.
