General Dentist Nicole M. Ferrara, DDS, PC

With a commitment to delivering the highest quality of comprehensive and compassionate dental care, Dr. Ferrara returned home to Loveland to establish her practice in 2001 with Dr. Ted E. Mioduski Jr., (founder of Implant & General Dentistry of Northern Colorado), Dr. Nicole Ferrara received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley. Dr. Ferrara earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2000. After obtaining her dental degree, she then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center where she completed her advanced General Practice Residency program.

Continuing to advance her expertise while building a thriving restorative and esthetic practice, Dr. Ferrara has studied extensively with Dr. Frank Spear, founder of the Spear Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Spear, along with manyother mentors, has helped her formulate a comprehensive philosophy of dental care that goes beyond simple cosmetics. This advanced approach to esthetic and restorative dentistry combines the latest dental science with sound biological, anatomical, functional and esthetic principles to maximize long-term health and durability.

In addition to her restorative practice, Dr. Ferrara is on staff at McKee Medical Center and works with many physicians and sleep specialists to treat patients with obstructive sleep apnea and TMJ disorders.

Dr. Ferrara is a Diplomate with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, Diplomate of American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine, Diplomate of American Board of Craniofacial Pain, a Fellow of American Board of Craniofacial Pain, a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Colorado Prosthodontic Society and the Larimer County Dental Society. She also is a consultant and volunteer provider for the Colorado Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped (CFDH) and a volunteer dentist for the Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM) charity dental care program. She previously served 9 years on the Board of the Dentists Professional Liability Trust of Colorado.

She is happily married to her husband Jarrel Ferrara. She enjoys spending time with her step son Caleb and daughter Giulianna. Her hobbies include outdoor activities, cooking, reading, hiking and gardening along with a love for animals. She has been an active member in the Mountain View Rotary Club for over 10 years.
